Janeiro - Ins & Out

Saturday - 4:00pm

Pre-req: A solid brass monkey from any entrance. Suggested Level 2/3 and up

Description: Whether you are looking towards mastering your first Janeiro or looking for new and creative ways to get into and out of it, this workshop is for you. There’s more than one way into and out of a Janeiro and the entrance that works best for another poler might not work best for you. Let’s explore and break down the different entrances and exits together in this move-specific workshop. The Janeiro is an elusive pole move for polers of every level, requiring everything to fall into place at the right time and place or else nothing falls into place, right? Contrary to popular belief, you do NOT have to be flexible to successfully get into a Janeiro. The Janeiro WILL look different on different bodies with different proportions and flexibility but that doesn’t make it any less impressive or beautiful. Join me as we walk through different entrances and exits to the Janeiro and help you find the one that works best for your body and brain to work towards.
